How Different Types of Video Affect Engagement

What makes an instructional video engaging? What strategies and characteristics should you incorporate into planning or the media selection process? This article provides a great summary of how the various types of video (i.e. talking head, recorded lecture, Khan Academy style, etc.) increase or decrease the amount of video a user watches.
